Generally, yes. All the holidays include a daily breakfast. Some also include lunch and an evening meal. Where they are not included, you are free to choose where and when to eat. Details are given with each individual tour.
Our accommodations are normally either small hotels to good quality B&Bs. Some are unique and some are traditional with that local area.
In most cases you can leave your car for the duration of your holiday in the car park of the hotel used for the first night’s accommodation. Where parking is not available at the first hotel, you will be advised of the alternative arrangements made for you. Some car parking may have a local fee which you will have to pay upon arrival.
Your luggage is transported for you every day (unless on a non-moving tour). Luggage is limited to one bag per person and with a weight limit of 22kg. On some tours where to stay in a mountain hut it might not be possible to move luggage there, in that case your main luggage is moved to the following accommodation.
You will need strong hiking shoes or boots, we advise not to wear trainers. Waterproof gear is also essential for some countries. A “kit list” is provided in our tour material for you to have a look at and decide what gear you wish to take.
