Tour Details

Take a walking tour to discover the Pyrenees of Catalonia along two main rivers, the River Ter and the River Núria. During the hiking holiday, you shall come across stunning scenery with peaks of 3000m all around you but not only that you shall pass through ancient villages. We have tried to make the trip so that the magnificent landscape can be enjoyed by many, including impressive gorges, high snow-capped peaks (early season), river torrents and white water along with stunning views as far as Roses Bay and Cap de Creus peninsula on Costa Brava.

In the region around Núria, you’ll discover an unparalleled environment where the waters of the river can only run its course through deep narrow gorges that have been cut through this hard rock. In Núria town there’s also a Sanctuary which is a popular place of pilgrimage. This really is a beautiful corner of the Pyrenees, where you will admire both natural and cultural heritage it has to offer. The small villages on your way are worth visiting, with medieval architecture, monasteries and bridges

First, there is a long moderate climb to the Fembra Morte Pass at 1.728m where you remain at high altitude as you continue to ascend to the Lliens pass at 1.864m. Here is an ideal spot for a picnic. Now you continue across the northern flank of the Puig de les Agudes range before descending through a wonderful landscape to Setcases.

You can walk up one of the mountain passes to the Bastiments peak at 2.883m where you shall see unrivalled mountain views. On clear days you can see the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
