Here are our top 3 Scottish walking holidays to choose from.

Our Top Scottish Walking Holidays

Arran Coastal Way

Arran Coastal Way

The island of Arran is off the West Coast of Scotland. Arran is a peaceful island and the scenery is truly amazing. The Arran Coastal Way is 65 miles around the island, the terrain will change and you will walk on beaches, tarmac road, forestry tracks, and coastal paths. You could also see lots of wildlife such as wild deer, seals and possibly porpoises. Being only one hour from the mainland by ferry this tour is pretty easy to get to. If you are wanting something a bit different and wanting a challenge, then this is a great tour. The Arran Coastal Way can be done as a 6 or 7 night holiday.

Trossachs Trail

The Trossachs Trail

The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is the first National Park of Scotland. which was officially opened in 2003. On our walking tour, you will explore lochs, glens and the mountains of the National Park. Our Trossachs Trail walking holiday lets you explore the most picturesque area of the Trossachs with its scenic beauty and historical interest. The Trossachs inspired Sir Walter Scott to write “Lady of the Lake” and “Rob Roy”, both of which popularised the Highlands of Scotland as a popular destination. Our Trossachs Trail can be done either as a 5 or 6-night walking holiday. The Trossachs is one of our personal favourites to visit and during the Summer we visit nearly every week.

Great Glen Way

The Great Glen Way

A great long-distance walk which starts in Fort William. Here you will see Ben Nevis (UK’s highest Mountain). You will see some great scenery and pass by some popular landmarks like the Caledonian Canal,  Neptune’s staircase (staircase lock comprising eight locks), Loch Linnhe to Scotland’s most famous Loch…Loch Ness. You can even find Castle Urquhart a short distance from the trail which is said to be one of the most photographed castles in Scotland. If you want to explore the Highlands and have some great pictures of landscapes as a memento then why not book this 7-night walking holiday and see Scotland at its best.
