Meet Us

Since 2007 I have been working at Hooked on Cycling & Walking. For 10 years I have worked as a Travel Specialist and keeping our websites on track. I have now taken a step back from being a Travel Specialist and now only do our IT & Social Media work.

I have a keen interest in walking and love walking my two dogs, and running around after my two boys. I also know my fair share about bikes as growing up we cycled every weekend and went on our own cycling holidays.

I am the owner of Hooked on Cycling and the man behind the big idea.  I have been working in the industry for nearly 20 years. My first big trip was to backpack around Europe when I was 18 years of age, sleeping on many a park bench to save money. Then an international job meant flying all around Europe, USA and Japan visiting many of the major cities.  I have since travelled further and wider over the years and has a vast knowledge of all our tours.

I also work in our professional bike shop and I am Cytech approved bike mechanic. I love to cycle and I go out cycling nearly every weekend (well 5-6 times per week).

Currently, I work in our bike shop which runs alongside Hooked on Cycling & Walking. I do the day to day running of the bike shop as well as doing maintenance on our rental bikes.

In my spare time, I like to go out running, going to the gym or cycling.

Originally from Manchester, I moved to Scotland back in 1994 with my husband Jon and my two eldest children – Simon and Sammie. On our move to Scotland that is when our idea came to start our dream business and in 1997 we set off with our business adventure. We have grown over the years and unlike other companies, we have kept our business within our family.

I love to travel and see the world and I have a keen interest in helping our guests with their vacations. My role within Hooked on Cycling & Walking is to keep the office running and making sure our guests get the best possible holiday with us.
